The Zero Year U.S. Presidential Curse is NOT over yet, officially

A different kind of "Hack". This phenomenon that has been going on in American history has been given a number of names such as Tecumseh's Curse, the curse of Tippecanoe, and the “zero year” Presidential Curse. It is stated to happen when a U.S. president is elected during a year divisible by twenty evenly. It is said that the story of the curse was first widely noted in a book published in the 1930s called “Ripley's Believe it or Not” with the observing of those presidents that had been victims of the curse up until that time since 1840. After the assassination attempt by John Hinkley, Jr. against President Reagan there were those who stated that the curse was over and/or broken since the President survived. I recall vividly after that event that one Lyndon LaRouche, a political figure, made the statement that the curse was over or broken on television. For me, without having or knowing closely all the details you cannot declare the curse over. There is another aspect of the curse that was never been explored until now. Before getting into this new aspect of the curse here is a short recap of those presidents that were in some way affected by it:

President William Henry Harrison (WHH), 9th, is stated to have died from complications from pneumonia in Washington, D.C on 04.04.1841. Elected zero year 1840.
President Abraham Lincoln (AL), 16th, was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth in Washington, D.C 04.14.1865. Elected zero year 1860
President James Abram Garfield (JAG), 20th, was assassinated by Charles J. Guiteau in Washington, D.C on 07.02.1881. Elected zero year 1880
President William McKinley (WM), 25th, was assassinated by Leon Czolgosz in Buffalo, N.Y. on 09.09.1901. Elected zero year 1900
President Warren Gamaliel Harding (WGH), 29th, is stated to have died from a heart attack or stroke in San Francisco, CA on 08.02.1923. Elected zero year 1920.
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), 32nd, is stated to have died from Cerebral Hemorrhage 04.12.1945 in Warm Springs, GA. Elected zero year 1940.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK), 35th, was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, TX on 11.22.1963. Elected zero year 1960
President Ronald Wilson Reagan (RWR), 40th, survived assassination attempt by John Hinckley, Jr. in Washington, D.C. on 03.30.1981. Elected zero year 1980.
President George Walker Bush (GWB), 43rd, survived assassination attempts by one Robert Pickett, an accountant from Evanston, Ind., who fired his gun at the White House when the president was inside on 02.07.2001 and the failed hand grenade attack by Vladimir Arutinian of Tbilisi in the country of Georgia on 05.10.2006. Elected zero year 2000.

There is another President who can be considered a victim of the curse. That is Zachary Taylor (ZT) the 12th President. He was not elected in a “zero year”, in 1848, but died on 07.09.1850. There are those who believe the curse killed him also. It is said he died from food poisoning. He would have to be included in the curse for the mere fact that he fought during the War of 1812 against Native American forces that were led by the Shawnee chief Tecumseh. At that time he successfully defended Fort Harrison in the Indiana Territory, present day Terre Haute, Indiana from Tecumseh and his forces. I would think that Tecumseh would have wanted him to be included in the curse. It is said by historians for the state for Indiana that both William Henry Harrison and Zachary Taylor commanded Fort Harrison in Indiana and are referred to it as "The Fort of Two Presidents." Note, this analysis focused on the outcome of the general election for each of the men. There have been those who state that the curse was begun or uttered by the Shawnee chief Tecumseh. Others state it was done by his brother the spiritual leader and chief Tenskwatawa, a.k.a "The Prophet" who cursed the office of the President. It is said that it is not clear from the story whether the curse, called by some Tecumseh's Curse, was uttered by Tecumseh or by his brother, Tenskwatawa, the Prophet. Supposedly, it is said that, the curse was set against Harrison along with future Presidents who become president that are elected in the year that end in the number as his. Zero in this case. Others state it was set by the Prophet in revenge for the killing of his brother Tecumseh during the War of 1812 in the Battle of the Thames. That is what they say. I strongly think that it was uttered by "The Prophet" since he was the spiritual one, for a reason. In getting to this new aspect of the curse that I mentioned I did some more research because I knew there was something more too it.

I began looking into the history of both Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa. It is said that both of them were born in the Ohio Territory into the Native American Shawnee tribe in the late 1700s. Tecumseh in Old Chillicothe, Ohio or Chillicothe its present day name in 1768. It is said that this was the state of Ohio's first capital city. There are those who say that Tenskwatawa was the twin of Tecumseh. But it is also said that Tenskwatawa, according to the Encyclopedia of North American Indians, he was born as one of a set of triplets in 1775 in Old Piqua, Ohio its present day name. One of the triplets, it is said, died in its infancy. His original given name was Lalawethika. In any case they both were born in Ohio. Their roles in the tribe would came to be that Tecumseh was the political and military leader while Tenskwatawa the spiritual leader. For both of them a significant event occurred on 08.03.1795. The Native American tribe of the Shawnee and other tribes were forced to cede extensive, long inhabited, and historic territory held by the Shawnee and others that included much of what is present day Ohio to the United States. This was done in the Treaty of Greenville at Fort Greenville now present day Greenville, Ohio. It is said that Tecumseh was not in agreement with the Treaty of Greenville. This treaty in part helped to give way to the state of Ohio entering into the union on 03.01.1803 as 17th state under the third President Thomas Jefferson. After the undesirable Treaty of Greenville was signed in 1795 from Tecumseh’s perspective ten years later in 1805 his brother Tenskwatawa fell into a deep trance and had, it is said, revelations from what was called the “Master of Life” or “Great Spirit”. If Tenskwatawa was born in 1775 as it has been stated then that would mean that he would have been around thirty years old at the time his revelations began. After this event he eventually changed his name from Lalewithaka to Tenskwatawa also known as “The Prophet”. It is said that the meaning of his new name is “The Open Door”. He formed a village for his growing followers in Greenville Ohio in that same year of 1805 near where the treaty was signed at Fort Greenville it is said. His brother Tecumseh also took up residence with him at Greenville in Ohio. Tenskwatawa went honorably preaching to his people to live morally and return to the ways of the traditional Shawnee. But Harrison, and others, sought to thwart his efforts. In 1806, three years and three months after the state was admitted into the union, in an effort to discredit Tenskwatawa as “ The Prophet” the then Governor of the Indiana territory Harrison challenged him to perform some type of miracle such as make the sun stand still. The challenge was accepted by Tenskwatawa and on June 16th based on Tenskwatawa’s prediction in front of a large crowd they saw what they thought was a miracle predicted by him, a total solar eclipse while at Greenville. This was an embarrassment to Governor Harrison. Tenskwatawa continued to have revelations or visions while he was at Greenville. Since Ohio is where the Shawnee brothers were born and raised one would think that this location of Greenville, Ohio and its history would play some part in the curse. The two Shawnee brothers and William Henry Harrison were adversaries for years to come. In further working to establish this new aspect of the curse I reviewed each of the Presidential victims’ political history as it relates to the state of Ohio or some connection to the state before, or in one case shortly after, becoming president in the “zero year” they were elected. Here is what I discovered:

After reviewing all the information of the two brothers, one of which that uttered the curse, and the victims of the curse and their connection, or not, to the state of Ohio I would say that not only is there a zero year curse but a added new aspect, that I mentioned, to it which I call the “Ohio jinx”. Based on this research eight of the nine men also share this even more eerie connection. I next created a chart or matrix of the victims using their initials as well as their political party affiliations. The political party affiliations are D for Democrat, R for Republican and W for Whig. I also use three categories Assassination for those who died by assassination, Natural Death for those whose death was related to a health issue, and Survival for those who survived the curse. Here is the matrix in which the Presidential victims are shown in order in threes:

In looking at the matrix I noticed that two-thirds or six of the victims of the curse are Republicans, AL, JAG, WM, WGH, RWR, and GWB. With one Whig, WHH, and two Democrats, FDR and JFK. It has been said by political pundits over the years in modern times that “…in fact no Republican has ever won the White House without Ohio”. To have six of the nine of them being involved does gives one pause. Note that President Zachary Taylor was affiliated with the Whig party. In looking at the matrix of the nine men of the curse four of them were assassinated, three died via natural means, and two survived. The first row of the matrix I noticed that all three men died in Washington D.C. with the first two men of these three, WHH and AL, dying in the month of April on 04.04 and 04.14 respectively.

The matrix provided more information when I began looking at each of the three rows separately, the three columns collectively, and the three rows diagonally. Below is the matrix using lines showing the following:

Here is an explanation of each of the denoted lines that are being shown within the matrix:

Going diagonally down from the top cell on the left to the bottom cell on the right. This shows the three men of WHH, WGH, and GWB as Natural Death, Natural Death, and Survival respectively. The first two cells are the same with the third cell being different relating to the way they died. Their political party affiliations are (W), (R), and (R). The first cell is different from the next two cells being the same relating to their political party affiliations. Looking to get as much information as possible I noticed that each of these three men have a first, middle and last name.
The first row going from left to right. This shows the three men of WHH, AL, and JAG as Natural Death, Assassination, and Assassination respectively. Their political party affiliations are (W), (R), and (R). The first cell is different from the next two cells relating to the way they died and their political party affiliations. I also noticed that all three men are in the 19th century.
The second row going from left to right. This shows the three men of WM, WGH, and FDR as, Assassination, Natural Death, and Natural Death respectively. Their political party affiliations are (R), (R), and (D). The first two cells are the same and third cell is different relating their party affiliations. It is the reverse as it relates to the way they died with the first being different from the next two cells which are the same pertaining to how they died. I also noticed that all three men are in the 20th century.
The third row going from left to right. This shows the three men of JFK, RWR, and GWB as Assassination, Survival, and Survival respectively. Their political party affiliations are (D), (R), and (R). The first cell is different from the next two cells in that the first man died and the survival of the next two men and their respective political party affiliations. I noticed also that each of these three men have a first, middle and last name. I also noticed that all three men are in the 20th century.
The three columns going from left to right. This shows in threes uniquely where the last two columns are the same and different from the first column. Note that in viewing the matrix in this way there is no display of political party affiliation like those of the other rows i.e. one separate from the other two which are the same: Natural Death, Assassination, Assassination ; Assassination, Natural Death, Survival ; Assassination, Natural Death, Survival

There is a sixth direction going diagonally that is not denoted with a line. It goes up from the bottom cell on the left to the top cell on the right. This shows the political party affiliation of the three men, JFK (D), WGH (R), and JAG (R). The first cell is different from the next two cells relating to their political party affiliations. All three of these men have a first, middle, and last name also in gleaning as much information as possible.

Since this curse has its basis in the number twenty I looked into other sources of information where the number is prevalent or where it is viewed with some significance. In the Bible there is a reference to the word score which is said to be equal to twenty but it is not found in the Bible alone stating the value of the word. It is mentioned as either threescore, equaling 60, which is stated 91 times or fourscore, equaling 80, which is stated 35 times throughout the bible. Based on what the bible views as a unit of twenty, a score, the curse has been through nine scores so far. There are those who say that the Mayans, an indigenous people of the area that encompasses parts of Mexico and Central America, viewed a approximately twenty year unit of time as a Katun. It said that a Katun is a period of 7200 days or approximately 20 years or 19.859 as per Wikipedia. One last and third point to make is that there are those who believe that the celestial event called the “Great Conjunction”, some call it the "Christmas star", also overlaps with the timing of the curse. It is said that the “Great Conjunction” occurs about every twenty years where the orbits or meeting of the two planets of Jupiter and Saturn are aligned close to each other in the sky. (Note, this event occured uniquely on 12.21.2020) In looking at this information relating to this subject matter of twenty there seems to be some sense of yearly overlap as to the timing in conjunction with the curse. There seems to be some significance with the number twenty in other areas also, where it is in part the basis of the curse.

There are those who think that with former First Lady Nancy Reagan’s use of astrologers and psychics the curse was broken since her husband survived the attempt on his life. Based on the information presented it is not over yet officially. In order for this curse/Ohio jinx to be over it must come “full circle” by going back to the state of Ohio specifically in the city of Greenville near where the old Fort stood for its resolution i.e. lifting, being broken, or shutdown to be precise. It is where “The Prophet” got his start or his religious beginnings in part at least. It is also Ohio, known as a state today, where the Shawnee brothers were born. It must be ended in the place where its origins are .i.e. in the state of Ohio. Based on the research the curse/Ohio jinx is only sleeping, dormant, and on hiatus which others believe as well. In order for it to be lifted one would think the Ohio governor should address the grievance of the Shawnee brothers in the place of Greenville, Ohio. “As Ohio goes so goes the nation” it is said. As a footnote not all of the men in this group were choirboys. In the 20th century before Reagan’s survival the three, at least, of W. G. H(R), F.D.R(D), and J.F.K(D) all had affairs while being married. One also notes that F.D.R as the sixth man in the curse during his third presidential term had to deal with the start of the mobilization of the nation for World War II to fight in it.

There is another phenomenon that I looked into also. There are those who make correlations with Friday the 13th and world events. The fear of Friday the 13th which is called Paraskevidekatriaphobia is considered to be a day of bad luck in a number of western cultures. Over the course of time there are years where there is a maximum number of three Friday the 13ths. Below is a sample of this phenomenon:

When looking at this phenomenon I noticed that there are only six months involved of the twelve. Either in the months of February, March, and November or January, April, and July. In either case there are two months in the first half of the year and one month in the last half of the year. During the time when the Friday the 13ths occur in the months of January, April, and July these are leap years. During certain decades there is a maximum of three years that have three months of Friday the 13th such as the years: 1801,1804, and 1807; 1953, 1956, and 1959 ; 1981, 1984, and 1987. At times the phenomenon happens two years in the beginning of the decade and one close to the end or one in the beginning of the decade and two at the end. You may ask, what does this have to do with the U.S. Presidential Zero year curse/Ohio jinx? In 1860 when Abraham Lincoln was elected there were three Friday the 13ths for that year in the months of January, April, and July. Also during this same year the state of South Carolina seceded from the union, unofficially, on 11.09.1860 which lead to the civil war starting on 12.20.1860 in that state in which it officially seceded from the union. In 1981 when there was a assassination attempt on President Reagan on 03.30.1981 it was a year that had three of the days as shown above. One notes that in 1891, a year that also had three Friday the 13ths, the Ouija or Spirit Board was issused a U.S. Patent (446,054) three days before the first Friday the 13th of that year on 02.10. The 90th anniversary for the Ouija Board Patent was in 1981. With this type of phenomenon happening,.i .e three Friday the 13ths in a particular year, these years could also be viewed as bad years as well. There are other world events that happened in years where this phenomenon occurred such as WWI in 1914, The Global stock market crash of 1987, The 2009 Great Recession, and the Mayan “end of the world” date of 2012. It is said that during the 1980s there were a number of spies arrested by the FBI. The FBI dubbed this time the "Decade of the Spy!" On the third Friday the 13th of this year 11.13.15 there was a massacre that occurred in France near the capital Paris. Here are some of the three Friday the 13^th years that have what is called a leap second i.e. where an extra second is added to the clock. This has happened in such years as June of 1981, Dec. of 1987, June of 2012, and 2015 so far.

Based on what occurred with Tenskwatawa on 06.16.1806, an eerie date and three days after Friday the 13th as well as three+ years after the state of Ohio joined the union (03.01.1803), one reviewed the years where there was a total solar eclipse within the curse where the victims were affected. They are those who view a total solar eclipse as a bad omen as well and things did occur. Those years are as follows: 08.27.1840 (WHH), 02.12.1850 (ZT), 07.18.1860 (AL), 01.11.1880 (JAG), 05.28.1900 (WM), 05.18.1901(WM), 10.01.1940 (FDR), 07.20.1963 (JFK), 12.14.2000 (GWB), 03.29.2006 (GWB), 06.21.2001 (GWB), and 08.01.2008 (GWB). Also of note there are those who focus on the death of JFK. Many state that the third shot that was fired at him killed him. One other bit of information. There were three U.S. Senators who were elected to the U.S. Senate who later was directly elected to the White House as President. They were Warren Harding of Ohio, John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts, and Barack Obama of Illinois. Of these three the first two were apart of the curse. Also of the three men the last two were Democrats while the first was a Republican.

In the year 2020 it will be, I would say, the 10th iteration of this zero year Presidential curse and Ohio jinx. A unique combination and I would hate to see it come back with a vengeance.

Well Mr. Joseph R. Biden is the new man inducted into the curse now after the 2020 election and is the third from the previous one of 2000 which was President GWB who was 43. He is the 46th President and the 10th iteration in the midst of a global pandemic called COVID-19. Like WGH, 5th in the curse, 100 years earlier in 1920 Joe was elected in year of a pandemic. He also debated in Cleveland, OH on 09.29.20 with his opponent just like RWR did in 1980 and Joe was fourth to go to Cleveland not being of Ohio within the curse. Like JFK he also visited the cities of Toledo and Cincinnati on 10.12.20. “History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes”. (Mark Twain).

Note, not to leave any stone un-turned it is said that based on the calculations of one Sir Isaac Newton he believed the world could end in 2060. If so and it happens after the U.S. Presidential election then it will occur in the 12th iteration of this zero year Presidential curse and Ohio jinx. Also note for the year 2040 there will be three Friday the 13^ths in the months of Jan, Apr, and Jul. All of what one has done relating to the curse is akin to the medical term called “contact tracing”.

Newly Published Book - The Cracking of the Bible
